Abena (she/her) Abraham is the Founder and Principal Consultant of Nyansa Consulting, where she partners with nonprofits, philanthropic institutions, community leaders, and individuals to develop strategies and experiences that create lasting impact.

With over a decade of experience in community organizing, public policy, philanthropy, nonprofit leadership, and event planning, Abena brings a unique perspective that bridges big-picture vision with thoughtful execution. Throughout her career, Abena has led statewide advocacy campaigns, advised nonprofit leaders, managed multimillion-dollar philanthropic initiatives, built coalitions capable of advancing meaningful systems change, and planned events and convenings that bring people together with purpose. She has experience navigating policy at every level of government—from municipal governments to state legislatures and federal advocacy—helping organizations understand how policy, funding, and community engagement intersect.
